I recently had a mess of spyware/adaware sites that keep popping up on my computer. They log on the internet without my permission and keep sending me messages about spyware warnings. They seem to block out whatever spyware remover I use (yahoo and AVG) plus they do not allow me access to system restore. I am getting very frustrated. Help

   1. Download and run firefox to protect your from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ) .Then update your windows through firefox

   2. Run the vundo and combo fix

   3. Run the anti spyware remove programs spybot and superantispyware to get rid of the nasties

   4. Run a free online virus scan to be sure you computer is virus and spyware free. download and run McAfee Avert Stinger Stinger is a stand-alone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses

   5. Get the clean up tools to clean up the spyware from your temp folder (the place they are stored when downloaded by internet explorer)

   Ad Aware, Spy bot - search and destroy,Spy ware Doctor are some good spy ware removers. AVG Anti virus and McAfee virus scan Plus 2007 are also supposed to help a lot.check out for more details.
