My son got comcast internet recently. We could not download mcfee antivirus that came with it.(Tried numerous times.) He bought Webroot spysweeper with antivirus and installed it. Ran scan and quarantined everything that came up, but the spyware is still there and keeps popping up. Also ran Ad-ware. Nothing seems to get rid of it. I just downloaded “hijack this” and tried to get rid of the malware but still I get popups. Is there any other better software or does anybody know how to use that “hijack this” software properly?

its nothing serious (i dont think) but just random times when I go onto a website, a pop-up will appear, and its the same pop-up each time (so i know its not from the website)
